Jose aldo's alright

Jose aldo is alright. He fights, he wins, and he does it all in style. I take nothing away from the guy. He's got impressive wins over 2 of the best 145ers around and the best, and probably only, flying double knee I've ever seen. I just feel people are giving him way too much credit. Frankie Edgar is a natural 145er but fights at 155 because he wants to fight the best and the ufc's the place for that. Bj Penn beat the champ of the weight above, Matt Hughes, who happened to be unstoppable at the time. Gsp has dominated everyone he's ever fought and showed to be dominant in all aspects of the game. Anderson silva's on a 13 fight win streak that includes wins over guys a weight class above including a former light heavy weight champ. Machida went 15 and 0 without ever losing a round, until he bumped into Shogun. Shogun has ran through pretty much everyone he's faced impressively and is the only guy to hold back to back wins over 2 hall of famers. I'm just saying, he's got to challenge himself a little more before people can say he's one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world. All he is right now is a really good fighter outside of the ufc. Jon Jones would already be lhw champ if he was fighting anywhere else. I'd like to see aldo at least go up and fight Ben Henderson. If he's really out to prove he's one of the all time best, pull a frankie and come fight in the ufc. I see frankie, Bj and maynard all being capable of handing him a loss. Tonight, he's supposed to beat manny gamburian, and impressively. After all, manny made it nowhere near the top in his ufc run. If he does, he's still needs some proving to do. If he doesn't, well people need to stop putting his name in the same sentence as bj's.

  1. Jose Aldo is the Shit!!!! after that performance I honestly think he can take anyone out in his weight division and also in the light weight division. If it was up to Aldo he would move up already but according to Dana he still wants to butter him up till he becomes well known name. As soon as he has another great fight he will be dominating all the lightweight division. What people dont understand is that this sport is evolving and Aldo is just another prospect that is going to dominate the sport just like Jon Jones. And I guess its going to be official now Jon Jones will face Ryan Bader at UFC 127. And we will all witness that Jones is the real deal.
